Energy Club @ UCSD’s Kick-off Event

Friday, October 9th at 4pm
Cymer Conference Center (SME 248)

Please join us for the Energy Club at UCSD’s kick-off event! Featuring lightning talks on solar, CO2 reduction, grid integration, and building efficiency. Followed by social hour.

The Energy Club at UC San Diego is a brand-new graduate student organization founded with the support of the Sustainable Power and Energy Center. Similar to the Center, the mission of this organization is to build a community of students and professionals to analyze and understand the most pressing global energy challenges. To accomplish this, we will focus on interdisciplinary programs to bring together members of the engineering, science, politics, and business communities. It will be an amazing opportunity to meet fellow energy enthusiasts and learn about the wide range of activities around UC San Diego.

Founding Members of Energy Club:

  • Devin Cela (Physics)
  • Jungwoo Lee (NanoEngineering)
  • Gwen Merlen (Chemistry)
  • Pritesh Parikh (NanoEngineering)
  • Tom Wynn (Materials Science)
